For well over a century, Lookaway Inn has nobly stood overlooking the historic town center of North Augusta. This historic southern mansion is a classic Beaux-Arts jewel from the 1800’s. Guests enjoy large elegant bedrooms with spacious private baths, a landscaped courtyard and gardens all accessed by way of grand verandas.

Lookaway Inn is committed to managing our overall impact on the environment without sacrificing the safety, comfort and enjoyment of our guests. The Inn strives to conserve water and energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality and minimize waste in many ways. Ceiling fans in all rooms offer alternative cooling even though the Inn is fully air-conditioned. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products wherever possible. Most of the Inn’s floors are natural wood with area rugs which greatly reduces cleaning energy and allergens.
